Hockey in July a Possibility
Though nothing is official regarding the return of hockey, the NHL has been in talks about continuing the 2019-20 season starting in July. The games would be played at only a few NHL arenas with little to no fans.
Arizona is one of the NHL franchises that has reportedly offered to serve as a host for games.
Continuing the season has had mixed reactions throughout the hockey world. Even some current players have expressed their opinions, including the ever-outspoken Drew Doughty.

What About the Draft?
The 2020 NHL Draft was originally scheduled to take place June 26-27 in Montreal but was also postponed along with the season.
The big question now is whether or not to hold the draft before or after the end of the 2019-20 season.
In an article published on April 21, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported,
"The league proposed to teams the idea of going forward with the draft in June."
