Casey Cizikas Fined Following Collision With Blackhawks' Alex Stalock

Tuesday night's game between the Chicago Blackhawks and New York Islanders featured a scary moment early in the first period. Islanders' forward Casey Cizikas drove to the net and collided with Blackhawks' goalie Alex Stalock, sending both players crashing to the ice.

Casey Cizikas received a major penalty and a game misconduct for goaltender interference. Now, NHL Player Safety has fined Cizikas $5K on top of it.

Alex Stalock got the worst of it, however. He exited the game after the collision and landed in concussion protocol. The Blackhawks have not provided a further update on Stalock, but it seems they're bracing for him to miss some time.
