Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane is expected to return to the lineup for Saturday night's game against the Seattle Kraken. Kane has missed the last three games due to a lower-body injury. He was a full participant in Saturday's morning skate.

Kane's return to the lineup comes 11 days after he left January 3rd's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning after the second period. Despite the Blackhawks only playing three games in that time, it definitely feels as if the Hawks have been without Kane for longer. The winger himself commented after practice that his absence has felt much longer than it actually has been.

The Blackhawks called up top-prospect Lukas Reichel in Kane's absence. They have won all three contests despite missing Kane. Reichel, who was sent down to the Rockford IceHogs on Friday, had an impressive showing during his second stint in the NHL this season. Kane also commented on Reichel's short stint with the Blackhawks while meeting with the media ahead of Saturday night's game.
