The Blackhawks got into a track meet with the Flames and it caught up with them in the third period of this game. Chances were about even through the first, swung in the Hawks favor in the second, but sunk them in the third. A wicked backhand from Kane, a DeBrincat one-timer and a late Saad top-shelf snipe came up just short against Johnny Gaudreau and the Flames in this 4-3 contest.
