With the 2021-22 Chicago Bulls season now in the books, all eyes are on an offseason that will have major ramifications. "Will the Bulls re-sign Zach LaVine?" is undoubtedly the biggest question. On Friday afternoon, Bulls' executive VP of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and LaVine himself spoke on the matter.

The 27-year-old guard missed 15 games this past season while struggling with knee issues, averaging 24.4 PPG, 4.6 RPG, and 4.5 APG. The Bulls were 9-4 when LaVine did not play, but most of those wins came during a February hot streak when DeMar DeRozan was averaging 34.2 points a night.

“I hope he’s here for a long time,” Arturas Karnisovas said of LaVine's future in Chicago. The Bulls' front office head added that LaVine's pestering knee issues will not come into play regarding his unrestricted free agent status.
