The hits just keep on coming for the Chicago Bulls. All-Star guard Zach LaVine is scheduled to miss the next several games according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Chicago Bulls are currently on a four-game losing streak, and losing Zach for the next several games isn't going to help them get back into the win column. LaVine was a first-time NBA All-Star in 2021 while averaging 27.5 PPG, 5.1 RPG, and 5.1 APG. LaVine is doing this while shooting 50.6% from the field and 40% from downtown.
The Chicago Bulls have been lacking offensive firepower lately despite adding All-Star center Nikola Vučević. Losing Zach in the midst of a playoff push isn't necessarily ideal. The Chicago Bulls possess the last spot in the new NBA playoff "play-in" currently as the tenth seed. They are also two games away from the fifth pick, which they traded to Orlando for Vučević.
It will be interesting to see how head coach Billy Donovan handles this situation with his star player being unavailable.
