BREAKING: Lauri Markkanen Out 4-6 Weeks

When it rains, it pours on the Chicago basketball injury front. Bulls power forward Lauri Markkanen will be sidelined four to six weeks with a stress reaction to his right pelvis. This is a huge blow to a Chicago Bulls frontcourt that is already missing Wendell Carter Jr. and rookie big man Daniel Gafford.
Markkanen was coming off one of his better games of the season, so this is just horrid news for Bulls fans. Lauri has struggled this season, as his minutes per game, points per game, and rebounds per game have all dropped, but he's still a vital piece to the Bulls rebuild.
