The Chicago Bulls have announced that guard Alex Caruso will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days as he deals with a left foot sprain.
Caruso suffered the injury against the Houston Rockets on Monday. He exited the game after playing just six minutes. This is the second injury that will cause him to miss time this season. He nursed a hamstring injury that kept him out for two games in early December.
Despite the timeline, Caruso may not miss too many games. Wednesday's scheduled matchup between the Bulls and the Toronto Raptors has been postponed due to COVID-19. The Bulls do not play again until Dec. 26 when they take on the Indiana Pacers. At worst, Caruso would miss that contest, Dec. 27 and Dec. 29 against the Hawks, and another meeting with the Pacers on Dec. 31 based on this timeline.
With the extended rest, the Bulls hope Alex Caruso can heal up and return to the floor sooner rather than later.
