It's truly hard to keep up with which Chicago Bulls players have COVID-19 and who doesn't. Thankfully, head coach Billy Donovan provided some insight on his squad and when to expect their returns to play.
As reported earlier today, Coby White and Javonte Green are out of COVID-19 protocols and working toward returning.
DeMar DeRozan, who entered health and safety protocols on December 7, is getting close to a return.
Matt Thomas, who entered protocols a day after DeRozan, is also nearing a return.
Zach LaVine, Ayo Dosunmu, Alize Johnson, Derrick Jones Jr., and Troy Brown Jr. are all likely sidelined until after Christmas.
The Bulls' next game is scheduled for this upcoming Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers are navigating their own battle with COVID as well.
The Bulls play three games next week. The Houston Rockets visit the United Center on Monday and the Toronto Raptors come to town on Wednesday. The following contest is the day after Christmas when the Bulls host the Indiana Pacers. That game could be a potential return date for LaVine and company.
Including this Sunday's matchup with the Lakers, the Bulls play four straight at home. Hopefully, key players can heal up and get back to full strength after the holidays.
