Bulls' Gar Forman Has Been Fired
In news that doesn't shock many, new Chicago Bulls' Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Arturas Karnisovas has fired Gar Forman.
Gar has been part of the Chicago Bulls organization since 1998 in a scouting role and in 2009 he was named the general manager. As a scout, Gar did well. He had input and scouted guys like Derrick Rose, Kirk Hinrich, Joakim Noah, Taj Gibson, and Jimmy Butler. He had a ton of misses as well, like Marquis Teague, Tony Snell, Doug McDermott, etc.
Arturas Karnisovas is looking to change the perception the Bulls have had for the last seven or eight years and build this from the ground up. By getting rid of Gar, Arturas is showing players, fans, and agents that the Chicago Bulls are undergoing major changes for the better.

This is just one move, and similar changes are likely on the horizon. Karnisovas has already brought in a cap specialist in J.J Polk and is looking to add more people with extensive basketball knowledge to bring the Bulls back to dominance.
