Chicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic will return tonight. The Bulls are set to take on the 1-16 Houston Rockets in Houston. According to Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times, Vucevic will play limited minutes in his return to action.
Vucevic was finding his stride before being sidelined by COVID-19. The last game he appeared in was a November 11th victory over the Dallas Mavericks. He scored 18 points, added four assists, and grabbed 10 rebounds.
The Bulls have been short-handed all season due to injuries. Coby White has only been back for about a week, Patrick Williams suffered a season-ending injury in late October, and Alex Caruso is battling a left wrist contusion. Nikola Vucevic returning will be a sight for sore eyes among Bulls fans. His minutes limit doesn't have a number on it yet, but the Bulls' big man is surely eager to return to the lineup.
