The NBA Draft signals a transition back to hope for all basketball fan bases following the Finals. Entering tonight, the Chicago Bulls currently hold the 18th pick in the draft. There are a variety of things Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley can do to elevate the Bulls to title contender status. Here is what our team here at On Tap Sports Net thinks they should do.

The Bulls will trade this pick for a big -- an area of need that plagued the team all last year. Personally, I am pulling for a trade to acquire John Collins. The 18th pick will be going to Atlanta with Nikola Vucevic, Coby White, or both. I wouldn't be upset with a Rudy Gobert trade either.

The Bulls will be trading Coby White and the 18th pick for a veteran. Who that gets you is the question. The Bulls need more vets to help lead these young guys and bring playoff experience to the table.

Drew Stevens

The Bulls should hold on to the 18th pick. E.J. Liddell or Tari Eason (if he falls) will be great options that can make an impact on the roster this year.

Colby Marchio

The Chicago Bulls will use the 18th pick on either Mark Williams or E.J. Liddell.

The thing is, there are a lot of quality stretch fours, which the team clearly needs. I think going with the pick is the smarter move unless there's a big name Karnisovas and co. can acquire for a reasonable price. The last thing I want to see them do is reach and get desperate to take the team the distance.

Keeping a healthy Zach LaVine in the mix makes them dangerous and one more guy can put them over the edge. But that player must be sound defensively with competent shooting ability.

The Bulls are trading this pick guaranteed. As Colby mentioned, there are several quality stretch fours available. But the Bulls have reportedly been unwilling to include Patrick Williams in any trade offers. Any stretch four Chicago drafts will bring roughly the same youth and fit as Williams.

The Blazers have already traded their 2025 first-rounder for Jerami Grant. With the market set, the Bulls should be able to acquire a decent big man for Coby White and the 18th pick. A player like Myles Turner would be a good return. Throw Vucevic in, and the Bulls should be in the mix for a center like DeAndre Ayton or Rudy Gobert.

Considering the Bulls need improved interior defense, there is no better option than Gobert. I would send Vucevic, White, and the No. 18 overall pick for him in a heartbeat.

Mark Williams is a no-brainer with the 18th pick. He brings elite rim protection (4.8 BLK/40) and fits the drop coverage that Billy Donovan wants to employ where Nikola Vucevic struggles. Williams converted 76.1% of his attempts at the rim and would be a great floor runner with a healthy Lonzo Ball, Zach LaVine, and DeMar DeRozan.
