The Chicago Bulls were already shorthanded entering Wednesday's contest against the Atlanta Hawks, and they lost another player during the game. Alex Caruso is in concussion protocol after exiting early due to a collision with Hawks' forward/guard De'Andre Hunter.

The collision occurred during the second quarter and Caruso did not return to the game. The Bulls initially ruled it a right shoulder sprain but later said Caruso entered concussion protocol.

Leading up to Wednesday's game, Caruso was already questionable due to a right elbow sprain. Additionally, Goran Dragic (left ankle soreness) and Derrick Jones Jr. (left ankle sprain) did not suit up.
