Chicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso loves his new home. Caruso appeared on Thursday's episode of the Pat McAfee Show and said he loves the city of Chicago, his teammates, and the front office.
It's no secret that mostly all Bulls fans love Caruso too. The energetic guard made a huge impact in his first season wearing the red and black. Hell, a case can even be made that he was on his way to an NBA All-Defensive Team selection if Grayson Allen didn't injure him in January with a cheap shot.
In his first season with the Bulls, Caruso averaged 7.4 PPG, 3.6 RPG, and 4 APG while shooting 40% from the field and 33% from downtown. Now, those offensive numbers don't jump off the stat sheet, but Caruso's value comes from his sparkplug-like abilities on both ends of the court that open up opportunities for his teammates.
Bulls fans have to love hearing multiple players in the organization say how much they love playing in Chicago. From Zach LaVine to DeMar DeRozan, and now Alex Caruso. The Chicago Bulls organization is well on its way to becoming exactly what general manager Marc Eversley envisioned: cool.
