The Chicago Bulls are hosting their annual media day. When fielding questions from the media, a reporter asked Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Artūras Karnišovas, "Are you committed to Zach LaVine?" AK didn't hesitate with his answer.

Karnišovas elaborated further, stating that the Bulls constructed their roster with a vision that involves LaVine remaining in Chicago for a long time. Obviously, Karnišovas and Marc Eversley are building the Bulls roster around LaVine. Trading for Nikola Vucevic last season and signing DeMar DeRozan and Lonzo Ball this offseason are prime examples of their commitment to that sentiment. LaVine is coming off his first NBA All-Star appearance, a season in which he averaged career-highs in almost every offensive category.

"The one thing is that we are committed to Zach. We want him to be in Chicago for a very long time. I think trade deadline and free agency moves kind of proved that," Karnisovas said ofbuilding around LaVine.
