The Chicago Bulls will get a boost in their backcourt Friday against the Detroit Pistons. Alex Caruso is probable to return to action after missing three games due to a concussion and a right shoulder sprain.

Caruso suffered the injuries in a collision with De'Andre Hunter of the Atlanta Hawks on Dec. 21. Prior to his absence, the 28-year-old averaged 5.3 PPG, 2.8 RPG, 3.6 APG, and 1.6 SPG in 30 games this season. The Bulls' perimeter defense should see an improvement with Alex Caruso back on the court.

Elsewhere on the injury report, Javonte Green is probable to play against Detroit. He has been dealing with right knee soreness that kept him sidelined for five games before returning Wednesday against the Milwaukee Bucks. Green played 16:40 and logged five points, two rebounds, one assist, and one block in that contest as he eased back into game action.
