UPDATE: Zach LaVine is in tonight for the Chicago Bulls according to head coach Billy Donovan.
Last night Zach LaVine put on a masterful performance. He scored 26 points, with 16 in the third quarter alone. He added six rebounds, six assists, and committed no turnovers. LaVine helped carry the Bulls to win over the Toronto Raptors to stop their two-game skid.
Bulls head coach Billy Donovan pointed out in the past that this isn't an issue of pain. LaVine's knee will start to get sore and tighten up on him making it difficult to play the way he likes to play. It would be a huge loss for the Bulls to not have him in the lineup on Tuesday against a top-tier Eastern Conference team.
The Milwaukee Bucks have beat the Bulls in their first two meetings this season. They also sit in quite the predicament in the standings as well. The Bulls, who were in first in the East the majority of the season now sit in fifth. Two games separate them from being a legit playoff team to being a "play-in team."
Hopefully, LaVine can rest during the day and has enough in the tank to suit up against the Bucks. Lord knows that this is a must-win for the team.
