The gritty stay gritty. In the second of four weeks at the Dreamville/Wilson Chi-League Pro-Am game, Chicago Bulls' forward Javonte Green shined.
Saturday at Credit Union 1 Arena, Green posted 23 points, 16 rebounds, and four blocks for Team Bobby Simmons.
The 2022-23 season will be the final year of Green's two-year contract with the Bulls. In 2021-22, he was highly productive while Patrick Williams was out due to an injury. Starting 45 games, Green averaged 7.2 PPG, 4.2 RPG, and 1.0 SPG.
His minutes will likely drop this coming season, but he is a strong candidate to come off the bench and make a play or two for the Bulls. Green is a tremendous defender and plays with a chip on his shoulder.
The final two weeks of the Dreamville/Wilson Chi-League will likely be full of Javonte Green highlights.
