Chicago Bulls' forward Justin Lewis will be out indefinitely as he is set to undergo surgery to repair an ACL tear in his right knee, the team announced Tuesday.
Lewis, who signed a two-way contract with the Bulls shortly after going undrafted in June, suffered the injury this past weekend. He averaged 7.0 points and 4.4 rebounds in the Las Vegas Summer League.
The Marquette product didn’t figure to play a prominent role off the bench this season. But at 6-foot-7 and 245 pounds with a versatile skillset, Justin Lewis made for an intriguing addition to the Chicago Bulls’ front court.
