The Chicago Bulls will not bring back guard Mac McClung, per a report. His second 10-day contract with the franchise has expired, which forced the team to make a decision.
The former Texas Tech guard and YouTube phenom only appeared in one game for Chicago. McClung played three minutes and scored two points in a victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Dec. 29. During his stint with the organization, the Bulls sent McClung to the G League where he impressed the fans in Hoffman Estates.
In his lone appearance with the Windy City Bulls, McClung scored 19 points and dished out seven assists. He has potential, but the Bulls currently have a logjam at the guard position.
Perhaps Mac McClung sticks in the G League with the Windy City Bulls, or maybe he showed enough promise enough to earn another 10-day contract with a new team. Either way, his time in Chicago is done for now.
