Chicago Bulls forward Patrick Williams has been putting in work this offseason. Williams has been working out in California with All-Star teammate DeMar DeRozan. When the Bulls lost in the first round of the playoffs, DeRozan said that he and Williams would train together this offseason to help improve the young forward's game.
Williams recently appeared on the "Gimmie The Hot Sauce Podcast" with Stacey King. He discussed his workout regimen with King and shared details of the different drills he and DeRozan are working on. The day begins with a 5 AM lift followed by shooting on the court for 45 minutes. Then they're back at it in the afternoon with some one-on-one ball.
Patrick Williams has flashed tremendous potential at points in his young two-year career. He was the first draft pick of the new Chicago Bulls' front office because of his raw talent and work ethic. In fact, the Bulls' brass has so much faith in Williams that they have reportedly refused to add his name to any potential trades. The fact Williams is working with an elite teammate like DeMar DeRozan this offseason should speak volumes to the front office and fans alike.
