The 2022-23 NBA schedule will become public Wednesday, but a few dates have been leaked. According to Chicago sports anchor David Kaplan, the Chicago Bulls will begin the season on the road against the Miami Heat on Oct. 19. Kaplan also reports the Bulls will host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Oct. 22 for their home opener.

The Bulls are coming off a first-round exit at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks. Offseason additions of Goran Dragic and Andre Drummond didn't mark a vast improvement, but the Bulls are still expected to be more competitive and make a deeper run in 2022-23.

Over the past few weeks, it appears multiple Bulls' players are already gearing up for the season. Several mainstays recently met up in Los Angeles for group workouts. DeMar DeRozan, Patrick Williams, and Dalen Terry have participated in the Drew League. Additionally, Goran Dragic and Marko Simonovic and slated to play in EuroBasket.

The only question mark remaining is Lonzo Ball’s health. His status will likely gain more clarity as training camp approaches.

But with the core in place following Zach LaVine's max contract extension, excitement surrounds the Chicago Bulls entering 2022-23. If the reported schedule leaks hold true, Oct. 19 will be the first chance to watch them back in regular-season action.
