The Chicago Bulls have signed former Brooklyn Nets power forward Alize Johnson, according to his agent. The Indiana Pacers drafted Johnson with the 50th pick in the 2018 NBA draft. The contract is reportedly a two-year, $3.6 million pact.

Johnson is a 6-foot-7 power forward who played at Missouri State in college. Despite limited playing time for Brooklyn in the 2020-21 season, Johnson posted impressive results when he did play. In just 10 minutes per game, Johnson averaged 5.2 points and five rebounds per game. The 25-year-old still has a lot to prove, which fits well with the Bulls roster.

Johnson had a few seriously impressive games last season including a 20-point, 21-rebound game against Indiana on April 29, and a 23-point, 15-rebound game against Utah on March 24.

With the Bulls in desperate need of power forward depth, Johnson provides an interesting option off the bench. If Johnson can produce as he did in Brooklyn, he will likely find a consistent spot for the Bulls this season.
