Well, once you get good news (Alex Caruso's full-contact practice), usually bad news follows. Chicago Bulls All-Star guard Zach LaVine did not participate in Friday's practice. LaVine has been experiencing left knee issues for the last few weeks after sustaining an injury back in January against the Golden State Warriors.

This news isn't damning, but it surely warrants concern. Just last week, LaVine himself said he was operating at about 70-80%. He probably won't miss any upcoming games, though he is questionable Saturday against Cleveland. LaVine's knee injury could seriously be the final dagger in the Chicago Bulls coffin if it does not improve.

In the 16 games since Zach LaVine tweaked his knee, his shooting percentage dropped down to 45%. From deep, he is shooting 35% in that span. Before the knee injury, he was shooting 51% from the field and 40% from downtown. It seems he isn't as aggressive as before because of the discomfort, which causes him to settle for contested jump shots a bit more.

Hopefully, this proves to be precautionary and this soreness will not cause LaVine to miss much time.
