Five Bulls Games Get New Dates Due to COVID-19

The Bulls will have five games rescheduled due to postponements and games with new dates on the schedule.

COVID-19 has been a significant storyline for the Chicago Bulls and the entire NBA. Games have either been played with decimated rosters or postponed. Today, the NBA released updates for several games, and five of them involve the Bulls.

Make-Up Games

The Bulls have had three games postponed so far this season. They were originally scheduled to play the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday, Dec. 14. That game will now take place on Tuesday, Jan. 11 at 7:00 PM. Then, Chicago had to postpone two games against the Toronto Raptors. Their original Wednesday, Dec. 22 game will now be played on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 7:00 PM. Furthermore, their Thursday, Dec. 16 contest will now occur on Thursday, Feb. 3 at 6:30 PM.

Future Games Rescheduled

As part of the NBA scheduling make-up games, a couple of Bulls' future games are now on different dates. A visit to the Oklahoma City Thunder originally scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 26 will now take place on Monday, Jan. 24 at 7:00 PM to allow the Bulls to play the Raptors on Jan. 26. In a corresponding move, the Bulls vs. Atlanta Hawks matchup scheduled for Monday, Jan. 24 will now take place on Thursday, March 3 at 6:00 PM.

It will be interesting to see how Chicago navigates its upcoming schedule. Adding in extra games is always difficult. This is especially true as the season grinds on.
