Former Chicago Bulls' head coach and laughing stock of the NBA, Jim Boylen, has re-entered the NBA gameday experience. While he will not be on the sidelines in any coaching capacity, he will join NBA TV as a studio analyst. Boylen will be part of the network's coverage this Thursday and Friday.

NBA TV picked up Thursday's Bulls vs. Knicks game, which should make for an interesting evening.

Since being fired by Arturas Karnisovas, Boylen has not held any position related to the NBA. This summer, Team USA tabbed him to serve as head coach for the World Cup Qualifiers. Many remain confused by the move, but the qualifiers occur during the season so no NBA or NCAA coaching talent can take part. With Boylen being a former NBA coach out of a job, this made him a prime candidate.
