The Chicago Bulls have been without guard/forward Garrett Temple for the last eight games due to a hamstring strain.

Temple last appeared in the Bulls' loss to the Utah Jazz, a game in which he only played two minutes before exiting due to the hamstring ailment. On the season, Temple is averaging 8.1 PPG, 2.0 APG, 3.1 RPG while shooting 42% from the field and 33% from downtown.

Those numbers don't jump off the stat sheet, but Temple does bring a veteran presence that can potentially help this team get on the right track after dropping three consecutive games. He adds a level of wing defense the Bulls have lacked since he's been out.

With the addition of Troy Brown Jr., who was acquired from the Washington Wizards at the trade deadline, the Bulls will have further defensive flexibility to pair with Coby White off the bench on the wings. One thing is for sure, the Bulls are slipping in the standings and could use all the help that Garrett Temple can give them going forward.
