No athlete is more iconic than Chicago Bulls' legend Michael Jordan. With that territory, his memorabilia is a hot — and expensive — commodity when it hits the market. Even one of his partially smoked cigars has sold for $1,558.50.
Now, his game-worn Air Jordan 1s from the 1985 season are hitting the market. Christie’s is holding an auction series called “The Greats,” which includes items from various sports legends such as Serena Williams, Kobe Bryant, and Henrik Lundqvist.
Air Jordans are some of the most iconic shoes of all time. And this pair worn by Jordan started a whole trend.
According to Christie’s, the shoes are worth between $200K and $300K. Additionally, Jordan’s dual signed original 1985 Air Jordan 1 ‘Chicago’ sneakers are up for auction. They are estimated between $100K and $150K.
Michael Jordan fans better have deep pockets if they want to get in on these items.
