Now, this is merely a report, but something worth keeping an eye on for Chicago Bulls' fans. According to said report from 670 The Score, there is belief the Bulls could be docked a first-round draft pick in the Lonzo Balltampering case.

This is a monumental payment for Ball. The Bulls are already without a number of first-round picks due to the flurry of moves the team has made since last season's NBA Trade Deadline.

The Bulls acquired Ball at the beginning of free agency in a sign-and-trade. However, due to the timing of the announcement, speculation began almost immediately. The swift announcement raised plenty of questions around the NBA, leading to the tampering investigation.

Nothing is official yet, however this is a situation worth monitoring. If the Bulls are penalized a first-round pick, that is a steep price for failing to wait a few hours before announcing the Ball deal.
