Via multiple reports, Bulls fans now know the two opening games for the 2021-22 season. On October 20, the Bulls will visit their division rival, the Detroit Pistons. On October 22, the New Orleans Pelicans will come to the United Center for the Bulls' home opener.

Bulls fans should be excited for the team's first two games of the season. The Pistons are always a fun matchup due to the rivalry between the two cities, let alone the two teams. However, more Bulls fans are likely circling the home opener more than the season opener.

The reason? The matchup with the Pelicans will be even more exciting. In order to acquire Lonzo Ball from New Orleans, the Bulls gave up Tomas Satoransky and Garrett Temple. This will be their first time back at the United Center. More importantly, the Bulls are tested with star Zion Williamson. The Pelicans won both games of the series last season against the Bulls.
