Kristian Winfield of New York Daily News is reporting that Lauri Markkanen, Lonzo Ball, and Devonte' Graham could all be on the move. A three-team deal is being discussed between the Charlotte Hornets, Chicago Bulls, and the New Orleans Pelicans.

It was reported earlier today by Marc Berman of the New York post that Lonzo Ball intended on signing an offer sheet with the Chicago Bulls when NBA Free Agency opens at 5:00 p.m. CDT. It now seems that instead of New Orleans losing Ball for nothing, a third team has emerged in a potential three-way swap. For months now it has been rumored that Chicago Bulls forward Lauri Markkanen would not be back with the team for his fifth NBA season.

Markkanen could thrive playing next to reigning NBA Rookie of the Year LaMelo Ball in Charlotte. A big that can stretch the floor and is above average in the pick-and-roll game could greatly benefit the Hornets. The Pelicans would receive Devonte' Graham, a dynamic scoring guard who could play well off of Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram. Of course, the Bulls also get the point guard they desperately need in Lonzo Ball.

Overall, this feels like a trade that can be considered a win for all teams involved. However, as free agency approaches, we'll likely have a better understanding of what the Bulls roster will look like in 2021-22.
