Chicago Bulls All-Star guard Zach LaVine will be going under the knife again. Shams Charania reported this afternoon that LaVine will have a scope procedure done in the coming weeks. LaVine tweaked his knee in a January contest against the Golden State Warriors. The effects of that ailment caused him to sit out a few regular-season games.

LaVine had a similar procedure done in February of this year. It didn't keep him out long as he still participated in NBA All-Star festivities. LaVine is currently an unrestricted free agent and has been vocal about keeping his options open. According to Arturas Karnsiovas, the Bulls intend to keep LaVine in Chicago long-term.

Hopefully, nothing is structurally wrong with LaVine's knee. There is a nice young core brewing in Chicago and LaVine is a key cog. If he is fully healthy, he could help take the Bulls to the next level. On the season, Zach LaVine was an All-Star once again and averaged 24.4 PPG, 4.6 RPG, and 4.5 APG. He shot 47% from the field and 38% from downtown.
