On Sunday, the Chicago Bulls and their fans received bad news. The team is now adding two players to the list of those in the league's health and safety protocols. Joining DeMar DeRozan, Javonte Green, Ayo Dosunmu, Derrick Jones Jr., Coby White, and others are Zach LaVine and Troy Brown Jr.

This is not the news the Bulls were hoping for. After a tough loss in Miami at the hands of the Heat on Saturday, the team is now down two more important players. Per Adrian Wojnarowski, the team needs eight eligible players in order to play on Tuesday against the Detroit Pistons.

As indicated by Woj, there has yet to be a postponement in the NBA this season due to COVID-19. However, if this persists for the Bulls, the league may be forced to move some of the team's games around so players can return to health. Currently, Chicago is tied with the Milwaukee Bucks for second place in the Eastern Conference.

With COVID-19 decimating the roster, the Bulls have slipped to 17-10 overall. If the Bulls don't get healthy and the league refuses to postpone games, then the Bulls may be in trouble as the new year approaches.

The Bulls are back in action on Tuesday night. As of now, the game is scheduled to be played. However, depending on what happens over the next day or so, that might change. The Windy City Bulls just canceled two games this weekend because of a thin roster. The Chicago Bulls might be on a similar pace if this continues.
