The Chicago Hounds signed two more former Austin Gilronis players with flankers Luke Beauchamp and Maclean Jones on Monday.

Beauchamp has 42 appearances (38 starts) during his four-year Major League Rugby career with the Houston Sabercats (2019-21) and Austin (2022). The 30-year-old brings leadership to Chicago after serving as Houston's captain during the 2021 season. Prior to MLR, he played for Brisbane City in Australia's National Rugby Championship.

Jones had 29 carries and recorded 116 tackles with two forced turnovers in nine matches this past season. In 2021, he joined Austin and scored two tries on 87 carries with six line breaks and had 154 tackles in 13 appearances.

Beauchamp and Jones make it six former Austin players to sign with the Hounds and rejoin their former head coach Sam Harris.
