Cubs Announce Promotion Schedule for 2022

Opening Day at Wrigley Field is just over two weeks away. On Tuesday, the Chicago Cubs added to the anticipation for the 2022 season by releasing their promotional schedule. The schedule includes theme nights and some pretty cool bobblehead giveaways.
For starters, the theme nights are pretty cool and highly inclusive of many pop culture fandoms. From WWE, to Shark Week, and even Sesame Street, the Cubs are really bringing the heat with some cool theme nights. The full list is as follows:
- Sunday, April 24: Ozark Day
- Monday, May 30: WWE Day
- Sunday, June 19: Strainger Things Day
- Tuesday, June 28: Shark Week Night
- Monday, August 8: Star Wars Night
- Friday, August 19: Top Gun Day
- Sunday, September 18: Sesame Street Day

There is no indication at this time what the theme nights will fully entail. However, aside from encouraging fans to dress for the occasion, there is likely something cool in store for fans on those specific days.
Bobbleheads?!
Aside from theme events, the Cubs also released five bobblehead giveaways this season. The featured Cubs include David Ross, Nico Hoerner, Patrick Wisdom, and recently acquired players Nick Madrigal and Marcus Stroman.
Personally, I'm already looking for tickets on September 17. Long time Cubs On Tap listeners will understand that comment. However, all the bobbleheads are pretty neat as the video indicates. They even have Patrick Wisdom's famous home run celebration as he rounds third base for his bobblehead.
In addition to the aforementioned promotions, the Cubs have a number of other cool giveaways throughout the season. This will be the first season since 2019 where the team had a full vault of promotions. The full list of promotions can be found here.
