The statue will take its place on the new "Statue Row," which is under construction at the park on Clark Street.
The Cubs are scheduled that day to play the Arizona Diamondbacks, with a 1:20 p.m. start time.
Last April, the Cubs announced Jenkins would receive a statue. He will join fellow Baseball Hall of Famers Ernie Banks, Ron Santo, Bill Williams, and play-by-play announcer Harry Caray to earn the honor.
The tributes for the four players will be in the new "Statue Row", while Carey's will remain in front of the bleacher's entrance at Waveland and Sheffield Avenues.
Jenkins, the 1971 NL Cy Young Award winner, went 167-132 with a 3.20 ERA with 154 complete games and 2,038 strikeouts with the Cubs (1966-73, 1982-83). Enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991, he also had his No. 31 retired by the Cubs in 2009.
