Clint Frazier is well on his way to becoming one of Cubs fans' favorite players heading into 2022 after he hit send on some tweets Tuesday.
Frazier, 27, is hoping to turn his career around on the North Side next season barring the lockout extending into April and beyond.
The former first-round pick is excited to grow a beard and show his personality to Cubs fans, something he was unable to do in New York. The outfielder also revealed he will wear No. 77, a first in Cubs history.
Frazier has the potential to become a mainstay with the Cubs if they give him consistent at-bats.
He's never had more than 246 at-bats in a season. He should get more with the Cubs, especially if the National League implements a designated hitter in the new collective bargaining agreement once the lockout ends.
