On a rainy day in Chicago, the Chicago Cubs and New York Mets geared up for game two of their four-game set. However, that will have to wait as inclement weather in the Chicago area has postponed Friday's game.

As indicated by the Cubs, Saturday will feature a day/night doubleheader to make up for Friday's game. The originally scheduled game on Saturday will be played at 1:20 p.m. CDT and Friday's rescheduled game will follow at 7:05 p.m. CDT.

For the Cubs, Marcus Stroman will throw in the first game on Saturday and Drew Smyly is slated to throw in the second game. The Mets have yet to announce their starters for both games.

This will be the first time that Stroman has thrown against his former team. In addition, Saturday's game will be the Stro Show's second start since returning from the IL. In his first start, he shut down the Dodgers to the tune of 4.0 innings while allowing only two hits, one walk, and striking out three.
