Schwarbomb #100

It was an extremely disappointing end to the game for the Cubs, but Schwarber's milestone moment shouldn't be ignored.

Last night, Cubs outfielder (and emergency catcher!) Kyle Schwarber popped off dinger number 100 for his career. In the top of the fifth inning, the Hulk took Phillies starter Drew Smyly deep to make the score 5-0 Cubs.

In his 453rd career game, he becomes the quickest to reach the milestone in Cubs history, usurping Kris Bryant who reached the century mark last season in his 487th cap.

My personal favorite Schwarbomb came back in the 2015 playoffs, back when the idea of a deep playoff run still seemed forever away. His blastoff of Gerrit Cole went out of PNC, helping then Cub Jake Arrieta back up his talk as the Cubs took the home the 2015 NL Wild Card. Outside the Budweiser blast against the Cards, you got another favorite to offer up? Let me know in the comments.
