This is a gigantic blow to fantasy owners in the final week of the regular season. Kamara logged six touchdowns last week and was set for another favorable matchup against the Panthers.

Obviously, Latavius Murray will be taking on the starting running back duties for the Saints on Sunday. However, it's highly unlikely that he's available to pick up from the waiver wire.

Waiver Wire Backup

If you're quick enough, you might be able to pick up a last-minute streamer. Currently, I'm looking at Rodney Smith on the Carolina Panthers. With Christian McCaffrey already out and Mike Davis not being expected to play, Smith will get the starting role for the Panthers. He gets a tough matchup against a great New Orleans defense with a lot left to play for in Week 17, but he's worth the risky stream if you have no other options.
