The pick is in for the Los Angeles Chargers and they got their future quarterback in Justin Herbert. It was a perfect storm for them; they ended up staying put at the number six overall pick to get their guy. So, what type of situation is he truly walking into with his new team?

The first order of business will be a battle for the QB1 spot against Tyrod Taylor. He will surely be the starter by week one of the NFL season. Next up, the offense he is walking into. It's a great spot to be in given the weapons he will have around him.

The talent surrounding Herbert will be a factor that could make him an intriguing late-round fantasy option. The likes of Austin Ekeler, Hunter Henry, and Mike Williams are all present -- oh, and let's not forget Keenan Allen is still there.

With all of the offensive firepower supporting him, Herbert is in a good spot to go out and prove some doubters wrong. When evaluating him from a fantasy standpoint, make don't forget about his rushing ability as well.
