We are halfway through the NFL season at this point and there's no slowing down now. Here in Week 8, there are several games that are prime for stacking on the DFS slate. How did Week 7 turn out for you? If it was positive, let's build on that momentum. Didn't go as planned? Then it's time to bounce back. Good luck with this week's main slate.
Lock: Josh Allen (FD:$8.2K/DK:$7.0K) - After his stellar start to the season, Allen has cooled off a little bit. This week, the Bills have a divisional matchup against the Patriots. They are looking to maintain their control over the AFC East and that will have to be with the arm and legs of Allen. The Patriots have been struggling the last few weeks on offense, so expect the Bills defense to get the ball into their quarterback's hands a few extra times this game.
Value: Tua Tagovailoa (FD:$6.8K/DK:$5.6K) - Yes, the Rookie is finally making his first start. Is this a great matchup for him? No, but if you are looking for a low-risk play with a sky-high upside, then it's time to turn to Tua. He will be a dual-threat in this game, which will cause some issues for the Rams. We could even see him run one into the end zone.
Lock: Alvin Kamara (FD:$9.0K/DK:$8.2K) - What is there to say about Kamara? Only that he is currently the whole Saints offense. They will be without Michael Thomas again this week against the Bears. The Chicago defense has experienced some issues against running backs throughout the season and that will be no different in Week 8. Also, Kamara will see tons of action as the passing game. Expect him to log 25-plus touches for 130 total yards and a touchdown.
Value: Darrell Henderson Jr. (FD:$6.1K/DK:$5.9K) - He is the top RB on the depth chart for the Rams, and that will not be changing for now. The only issue that scares people away is that the Rams seem to go to Brown near the goal line, but that won't be an issue in this matchup against the Dolphins. Henderson Jr. sees nearly 20 touches a game, which is crucial for this price range. Lock him in and he will be able to hit his value this week.
Lock: A.J. Brown (FD:$7.5K/DK:$6.9K) - The Titans are an extremely scary team this season. They can run the ball all over opponents or they can keep up in the passing game with no issues. Brown has been an ultra-reliable target in all of his games this season. The Bengals' pass defense sits in the middle of the league, but the Browns put up some good numbers last week on them. Look for the Titans to be able to move the ball around at will.
Value: Nelson Agholor (FD:$5.0K/DK:$4.7K) - Agholor has been a surprising sight to behold this season. He has found new life with a new team in the Raiders, and he has become a major weapon for Derek Carr over the last few weeks. Additionally, the Browns rank near the bottom of the league against the pass and that won't change anytime soon. Expect Agholor to continue his streak of scoring a touchdown as well. He will post 80 yards and a score in this contest.
Lock: George Kittle (FD:$7.7K/DK:$7.0K) -The 49ers will be missing Deebo Samuel in this game. That absence opens up more targets for the starting TE, and this matchup against the Seahawks could be a high-scoring game. If the 49ers go down in this matchup, they will need to rely on Kittle to move the ball for them. Expect around 110 yards and a touchdown from him this week.
Value: Mike Gesicki (FD:$5.5K/DK:$4.9K) - Yes, he has been a little quiet the last few games. But as the football cliche goes, "The Tight End is the Rookie quarterback's favorite target". Well, Tua should be looking for Gesicki frequently in this game, which will help him hit his value rather easily.
#CrackUm Player Of The Week
Dalvin Cook (FD:$9.2K/DK:$7.5K) - A healthy Cook against a bad Packers' run defense? Yes; all day and twice on Sundays. This NFC North battle should be an old-school, grind-it-out type of game, and the Vikings are going to do that by running the ball all over Green Bay. Also, they will struggle in the passing game because of their quarterback; we all know who that is. It's not all on Cousins, however, because Adam Thielen will be shadowed by Packers' top corner Jaire Alexander. Lock in Cook and watch the points add up all game.
