Welcome back to the Value Pack for the second week of the XFL season. Now we are starting to see a little bit more clarity in how these teams look. Some teams are already going in with some major changes and others might have some key injuries that open up chances for other players. So, let's get ready for this week with some key plays.

Running Back

Christine Michael - STL ($13): Week 1 was a disaster for the former NFL running back. He was labeled as the starter but only ended up touching the ball eight times. Matt Jones, on the other hand, ended up seeing 21 total carries. It might seem a little crazy to be picking Michael now. But here is why the Battlehawks are going to be a little bit thin at running back this week: so far, Keith Ford is out and Matt Jones is questionable. This could result in a larger share of work for Michael this week.

Tyler Palka - DC ($9): This is another team with several injuries at the wide receiver/tight end position. The Defenders might be without three wide receivers and possibly even their tight end. Cardale Jones was able to spread the ball around to multiple targets throughout the game. It will continue in a game that might finally be higher scoring against the Guardians. This is the type of value to roll with because it can help you get the few major players in the league on your squad.

Ja'Quan Gardner - SEA ($13): We're taking a second swing at this Dragons' player. In week one, he saw a total of nine carries for 36 yards. Those numbers could have been on the low end due to the score of the game. However, he does seem to be a focal point for this offense. Both defenses struggled last week, so this should be a perfect time for Seattle to get back on track. Gardner might still be sharing snaps in the backfield, but there will be plenty of work to go around in this game.
