Chicago Fire FC aims to end their nine-game winless streak in MLS play when they square off against their Eastern Conference rival Toronto FC at BMO Field in Toronto on Saturday.

Head Coach Ezra Hendrickson is expected to bring changes to the squad that lost 0-1 to New York City FC at the Yankee Stadium on match day 13 of the MLS.

“I think tactically we are going to stick to the 4-2-3-1. There will be some personnel change, which is necessary. We are trying to get the team together to be on the pitch for extended period of time and games”.

Though Ezra blamed the turf for his team’s defeat in New York City, the head coach is tactically optimistic his team will be able to grind out results in Toronto.

"We have been close with the games we have played so far. Cincinnati game, New York Red Bull, and even New York City FC game, the pitch wasn’t conducive like the way we wanted to play, it is really close. I expect Toronto to come out to try and get the three points. Typically getting a point on the road is satisfactory. We are at a point to steal points from teams. But we will be going there aiming to get all three points."

Former FC Koln defender Rafael Czichos and Jairo Torres are expected to see some minutes for Chicago after missing some games due to nagging injuries.

After 13 matches, the Chicago Fire are rock bottom in the MLS Eastern Conference as the team has picked just one victory on the road.
