After sitting at about .500 for the last week, Tuesday's college slate has plenty of great featured betting spots. Nine ranked teams take the court in a packed night of hoops. Let's get to it.

West Virginia (-11) vs. Iowa State

Since COVID-19 hit the Cyclones, they have not been close to the same team. They were not particularly strong to start the season and now Javan Johnson, Soloman Young, and Tre Jackson could still be out in their matchup against the Mountaineers. Offensive rebounding is West Virginia's forte (eighth in the country). Iowa State averaged only 30.2 rebounds per game, and that number plummets by about ten RPG from the aforementioned three contributors no longer in the lineup. The short-handed Cyclones hold a 3-8 ATS record this season. Look for Derek Culver to have a massive game. West Virginia could eclipse this number in the first half alone.

Tennessee/Mississippi - Total 124

Both of these teams have elite defenses. Tennessee ranks second in defensive efficiency and Ole Miss is 23rd. Both teams will turn the other over as well, which is the only reason the pace may be interrupted. Finally, they both rank below 300 in pace, which is about as slow as a team can be. Unless this game turns into a turnover fest, the pace and defensive strengths should force this total under. Now, Ole Miss averages about 13.6 turnovers per game, but they also shoot only 27.8% from downtown. Given all of these collective variables, this game should be low-scoring.

Iowa (-10.5) vs. Michigan State

Iowa comes off of two straight losses: Indiana and Illinois. However, the game against Illinois was on the road. The Hawkeyes and their number two-rated offense in college basketball look to get back on track at Carver-Hawkeye arena against the Spartans. Now, this line seems a bit steep for a Big Ten matchup. MSU has two victories over top-30 KenPom teams: Duke and Rutgers. Rutgers even beat them in their second matchup, and they are 2-4 on the road this year. MSU does have a stronger defense, but Joey Hauser will have to defend Luka Garza, who would have two inches and 45 pounds on him. This is a major matchup issue because of how Iowa's offense completely runs through Garza. If the Spartans concentrate too much on him, this will open up three-pointers for Iowa's wings. Given this, Iowa should be able to cover the number.

Pick: Iowa -10.5
