Despite a resounding 3-0 win against 2022 World Cup participant Morocco, United States Men's National Team Head coach Gregg Berhalter believes his team has more room for improvement ahead of the upcoming Mundial in November.

The international friendly against former African Champions Morocco in Cincinnati, Ohio was the first of four games prior to the team's campaign in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Goals from Leeds United midfielder Brenden Aaronson, Tim Weah, and Haji Wright climaxed an amazing evening for head coach Gregg Berhalter.

"We talked about, before the game, establishing a baseline for this group about how we can perform against World Cup opponents, and I felt like the group went out and showed exactly how good we can be," Berhalter said.

The USMNT are in group B alongside heavyweights England, Iran, and the winner of Ukraine and Wales in the World Cup. Berhalter wants his team to improve ahead of the competition.

"We still know that we need to keep improving and that’s why this game was so good for us. It was a good opponent. A very dangerous opponent and I think we controlled the match pretty well and were able to create a number of chances against a good defensive opponent."

The American team hosts former World Cup champions Uruguay this coming Saturday at the Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas.
