Seven former Notre Dame players will take the field for Wild Card Weekend in the NFL Playoffs.

The playoffs start with a former Irish player on each side, with offensive lineman Nick Martin of the Las Vegas Raiders against defensive end Khalid Kareem of the Cincinnati Bengals. The second game of the day between the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills does not feature any Notre Dame alums. Cornerback Nick McCloud is on Buffalo's practice squad.

On Sunday, offensive tackle Robert Hainsey and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Philadelphia Eagles. The second game of the day features two more offensive linemen in Aaron Banks of the San Francisco 49ers visiting Zack Martin of the Dallas Cowboys. Wide receiver Chase Claypool of the Pittsburgh Steelers visits the Kansas City Chiefs in the night game.

The NFL caps Wild Card Weekend with wide receiver Ben Skowronek of the Los Angeles Rams hosting the Arizona Cardinals.
