loki ep 3

We've had three episodes of Loki released thus far, and already there is a million things to speculate on and theorize about. So far we've got one theory out there that could still prove to be true, about how Loki will tie into WandaVision. The other theory, while mostly a joke, did nail one point. The theory that the TVA analysts like Mobius are in fact variants themselves is how I connected Wedding Crashers into the MCU, so I'm giving myself a lil pat on the back for that one. Loki episode three was our first bottle episode, and nothing swayed me one way or the other. That said, I do have some thoughts to put out there that hopefully won't get me flayed online. Without further pause, let's looks at some Loki predictions, week three. While these are just theories and predictions, a spoiler warning remains in effect.

Loki Week Three Predictions

A Kang the Conqueror Tease

I've already leaned into my theory that Loki will connect to the end of WandaVision and subsequently to Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness. Continuing down that logic, I'm predicting a tease of Kang the Conqueror. Kang is also a Nexus-being, like the Scarlet Witch. I could see the MCU teasing his powers in Loki as we move towards the end of the series. Kang could send the TVA and the Time Keepers into a tizzy with his superior brain-power and engineering skills. We know he's gonna be the big bad in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, but with that releasing in 2023 we will see him sooner. The smarter money is probably on Kang appearing in the Multiverse of Madness end credits, but let's go bold.

The Time Keepers Won't be the Real Time Keepers

I believe that the TVA will arrive to save our beloved Loki and the Variant, and return both to the TVA HQ. While I think they will get an audience with the "Time Keepers" I believe what we see will not be true. Similar to the floating head of Oz in Wizard of Oz or God in Garth Ennis/Steve Dillon's The Preacher. I think that we will discover that something, or someone (Kang the Conqueror? Mephisto?!) has caused a disturbance and the Time Keepers have either been captured or are in hiding. That would also explain the creepy and dystopian TVA building and training materials.
