Spider-Man: No Way Home is projected for a domestic opening weekend of somewhere between $240 and $250 million. Such earnings would mark the third- or fourth-highest grossing opening weekend all-time.

Even amongst comic book movie fatigue, Spider-Man: No Way Home is managing to break through to the top of the list for opening weekends. It will likely gross somewhere between Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens and Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi. Those films are currently third and fourth on the list, respectively. Only Avengers: End Game and Avengers: Infinity War rank higher.

Beyond its box office success, Spider-Man: No Way Home has a 94% critic approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 99% audience score. The film has been the first massive box office success since 2020 with hopes of more to follow.
