It looks like, at least in the interim, the Red Stars have a new head coach. The club's website currently lists Rade Tanaskovic as acting head coach.

Tanaskovic has been the Red Stars' goalkeeper coach for the past two seasons. He has been successful in the position and has been blessed working with US National Team goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher for most of his tenure. Red Stars goalkeepers have kept 14 clean sheets during Tanaskovic's time with the club.

Tanskovic replaces, at least in the interim, Rory Dames, who resigned as the team's head coach last month amidst allegations of abuse stemming back to 2014. It is unclear whether Tanaskovic will be a finalist for the head coach position moving forward. He has never been a head coach at the professional level.
